Developing Self & Others using the DiSC profile
1-Day Program
School leaders play an important role in ensuring that their schools are characterised by high quality connections.
This is a powerful program for leaders seeking to manage more effectively by learning about their own management preferences and priorities and how to manage, motivate, direct and develop others.
The Developing Self & Others using the DiSC profile program is an interactive and practical 1-day workshop offering leaders the opportunity for greater awareness of self – and others – through an interpersonal, flexible and rapport-driven approach to leadership and coaching for greater impact.
The DiSC® Management profile is a highly practical tool that helps leaders to bring out the best in themselves and those they lead - building trust, improving communication, and increasing engagement.
DiSC® is the leading personal assessment tool - a highly practical tool that helps build trust, improve communication, and increase engagement. You will learn to understand and appreciate the styles of the people you work with, resulting in more effective and productive workplace relations.
The DiSC® profile, published by Wiley, is a non-judgemental tool used for discussion of people's behavioral differences. If you participate in a DiSC program, you'll be asked to complete a series of questions that produce a detailed report about your personality and behaviour. You'll also receive tips related to working with people of other styles.
Both programs can be run within a school (minimum 8 participants) or within a community of schools. Individuals, pairs or small groups may wish to attend a public program. Refer to Current Workshops for dates.
The Developing Self & Others using the DiSC profile program is delivered in a one-day workshop with a compulsory pre-workshop online DiSC® Profile to be completed prior to the workshop.
Completion of the one-day Developing Self & Others using the DiSC profile program addresses the following domains and standards for Lead teacher from the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers as published by the Australian Institute for Teaching and School Leadership (AITSL): 6.1.4, 6.2.4, 6.3.4, 6.4.4, 7.3.4, 7.4.4
Completing Developing Self & Others using the DiSC profile 1-day program will contribute to 6 hours of NESA Registered PD addressing 6.1.4, 6.2.4, 6.3.4, 6.4.4, 7.3.4, 7.4.4 from the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers towards maintaining Lead Teacher Accreditation in NSW.
Upon completion of a survey after your workshop you will receive a GCI certificate of participation. You may also wish to add the program to your LinkedIn qualifications.
